Doha, Qatar – October 28, 2024: The 15th edition of Milipol Qatar, Global Event for Homeland Security and Safety, under the theme “The technology at the service of security”, officially opens tomorrow at the DECC, bringing together global leaders in security solutions and technology.

Milipol Qatar 2024 will feature a three-day seminar program featuring 13 presentations and addressing critical topics, including the protection of ports, airports, and borders; fire and rescue strategies; as well as the latest advancements in cybersecurity and the response to emerging cyber threats. And for the first time in Milipol Qatar, the event will also host an exceptional state conference about artificial intelligence titled 'AI Serving Homeland Security and Safety,' on October 29 and 30.

In the lead-up to this year’s edition, Major General Nasser Bin Fahad AL THANI, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee, expressed pride in the Ministry’s focus on showcasing technological advancements that address current and future security threats at this year's event. He highlighted the vital role Milipol Qatar plays in supporting the nation’s security goals and technological innovations.

The event showcases a 70% international participation featuring 6 International Pavilions from France, North America, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic and China.

This edition of Milipol Qatar marks a significant milestone with 8 countries participating for the first time: Greece, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Sweden.
