QATAR - 13 May 2020: At this complex and uncertain time, Milipol teams are keen to reiterate that we remain fully mobilised to assist and support security professionals in their common and future projects and continue to offer them a service and events that rise to Homeland Security & Civil Defence expectations.

In this context, Milipol Qatar, the leading international event for homeland security and civil defence, will be the perfect platform to overcome today’s challenges. It will allow the exhibitors to present their latest innovations and will represent a real business opportunity.

The industry-only event, which is under the patronage of His Highness the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) from March 15-17.

Organised by Qatar’s Ministry of Interior in partnership with Paris-based international event organiser Comexposium, acting on behalf of the GIE Milipol headed by Civipol, the consulting and service companyof the French ministry of the Interior, the event is held under the authority of Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.

Technology solutions are at the core of modern Middle East homeland security policies. Their role is central for planning informed policies, taking adequate decisions in an ever-complex environment and protecting security operators. As a matter of fact, technology solutions are the essential auxiliaries for planning and managing major international events such as the FIFA World Cup 2022” says Préfet Yann Jounot, CEO of Civipol and President of Milipol events. This has led to increasing numbers of high-tech suppliers featuring ever more prominently in the Milipol Qatar exhibitor line-up.

Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mega events security, and crisis management technologies are globally impacting the security industry and are leading to major investment in upgrades and new project development for homeland security and civil defence.

Milipol Qatar 2021 will highlight an expansive range of leading-edge defence, security, monitoring and protection solutions designed to protect societies.

A powerful associated knowledge-sharing program will feature dialogues, case studies and debates on the Industry’s challenges and opportunities.
