1/ How did your last participation at Milipol Qatar go?

Our company’s presence at the previous Milipol Qatar event was a remarkable success. We engaged in fruitful discussions with numerous visitors, which significantly bolstered our network and market presence. The excellent organization of the event played a key role in facilitating these interactions, and we deeply appreciated the seamless experience provided by the hosts.

Milipol Qatar proved to be an invaluable platform for marketing our products in the Middle East region. We eagerly look forward to attending the next edition and building upon the achievements from this year’s event.

In an increasingly digital world, integrating digital solutions into public safety has become essential. Axon stands at the forefront of this digital transformation in public safety. The company is renowned for its mission to protect life, providing innovative products that enhance the capabilities of law enforcement agencies. Its technologies drive efficiency, enable new possibilities, and are crucial for modern law enforcement.

 

4/ Why did you choose to participate at Milipol Qatar 2024? How is Milipol Qatar important for growing your business?

Milipol Qatar is crucial for business growth by offering extensive networking opportunities with industry leaders and decision-makers, enabling Axon’s visibility into the Middle East, and showcasing our innovative products. The event enhances brand credibility, provides insights into competitors, and fosters knowledge sharing through conferences and workshops. It also facilitates immediate engagement with government agencies making it a strategic platform Axon’s global mission.

5/ Where do you intend to grow your business in the future (countries or verticals)?

Looking ahead there are three critical areas and emerging technologies where we’re focused on growing and strengthening our ecosystem - optimizing and centralizing real-time operations, deploying drones & robotics to scale human resources and leveraging smarter software and artificial intelligence:

  • Axon recently acquired Fusus, bringing unparalleled real-time situational awareness into our Axon Network alongside revolutionary less-lethal tools and training to deter and de-escalate unfolding threats. Real-Time Crime Centers provide public safety with a centralized facility equipped with advanced technology and data analysis tools that enable law enforcement agencies to monitor and respond to incidents in real time. Ultimately, by aggregating all of this information into a single pane of glass for public safety, it can enhance situational awareness, improve response times and support proactive crime prevention efforts by leveraging up-to-the-minute information and analytics.
  • Today drones mostly provide better situational awareness to inform better response strategies. But we envision a future where drones are the response strategy, where agencies can use them not only to observe, but to communicate and to act when needed and help force multiply their agencies and keep officers out of harm’s way. Axon recently announced a definitive agreement to acquire Dedrone, a global leader in airspace security. Dedrone’s innovative technologies provide immense value to public safety and national security entities worldwide by protecting against increasing drone threats and advancing the use of Drones as First Responders.
  • We implement AI in many of our products but we can leverage AI in so many more ways, responsibly, to truly scale public safety. Officers are spending 10-15 hours on paperwork alone, which takes away from calls for service, time in community. Draft One is a revolutionary new software product we recently introduced in the U.S., that drafts clear, concise and quality police report narratives in seconds based on body-worn camera audio. Developed with artificial intelligence (AI), Draft One includes safeguards that require every report to be reviewed and approved by a human officer, ensuring accuracy and accountability of the information. When officers are able to spend more time connecting with the community and taking care of themselves both physically and mentally, they can make better decisions that lead to more successful de-escalated outcomes.
