SecuScan® is part of the German advanced-technology company KTG GmbH which was founded in 2001 in Munich. The company develops customer-specific solutions for under vehicle inspection to support the detection of IEDs (= Improvised Explosive Devices) and other hidden objects, such as explosives, drugs and contrabands.
With its highly efficient scanning technology SecuScan® supports the fast and uncomplicated detection of dangerous objects at the undercarriage of the vehicles.
Unlike conventional underside control methods, such as inspection wells or mirrors, SecuScan® enables effective safety inspections without slowing down the traffic flow at checkpoints. As the innovation leader SecuScan® today is used successfully in more than 50 countries worldwide.
SecuScan® systems act as security line at gates of industrial facilities, military camps, government buildings, border crossings, airports, seaports, stadiums, hotels, car parks, prisons etc.
2/ Why did you choose to exhibit in Milipol Qatar? Will you present innovative/new products/solutions during Milipol Qatar?
We exhibited at Milipol Qatar since 2014 for the first time and we were coming back every two years. Milipol Qatar is one of the most important exhibitions for us in the Middle East region.
During the show we will present our product improvements and new developments.
3/ According to you, what are the current trends that provide opportunities for your company?
The Army, Military and governmental entities require high quality products that provide advanced safety inspections and comprehensive access control.
4/ How much Qatar is important for your growth plan?
Qatar and the Middle East is an important region for us. Especially in the Middle East market the access control at the entrance at Army, Military and governmental entities is planed and realized very professional and includes Under Vehicle Inspection.
5/ Where do you intend to grow your business in the future (countries or vertical)?
20 years ago, the first SecuScan® system has been installed in the governmental district of Berlin, Germany. With this long-term experience in this market and with successful installations in more than 50 countries worldwide SecuScan® is one of the oldest suppliers of Under Vehicle Inspection systems and the innovation leader in the industry.
With our new products and product improvements we are increasing our worldwide market share continuously.
