IVF HARTMANN AG has been one of the foremost suppliers of medical consumables in Switzerland for almost 150 years. We serve the health sector and, as a subsidiary of the German HARTMANN GROUP with more than 10,000 employees, we market products in the fields of wound management, disinfection, surgical care and incontinence management, for example DermaPlast® and Sterilium®. For decades we have been supplying the Swiss Army with pressure bandages/bandage packs.
We have continuously developed these further and are showcasing the latest results at the Milipol in Qatar.
2/ Why did you choose to exhibit in Milipol Qatar? Will you present innovative/new products/solutions during Milipol Qatar?
We will be highlighting the latest version of the TRAUMA BANDAGE as well as the HARTMANN Trauma Box®. The TRAUMA BANDAGE impresses with its compact size, safety and ease of use due to a newly developed pressure applicator. The HARTMANN Trauma Box® now features a specially designed vandal-proof and weather-protected dispenser, which allows rapid access to the TRAUMA BANDAGE and a C-A-T® Tourniquet in case of need. We want to save lives with these products.
The Milipol in Qatar is a perfect platform for reaching our target group in the fields of law & order, security and the military, also in the Arab region. The Trauma Box® enables more efficient, faster and easier primary care for the mentioned professional groups.
3/ According to you, what are the current trends that provide opportunities for your company?
Dangerous missions of these professionals in the police, the military or the rescue services place high demands on personnel. Injuries among the emergency personnel can occur on occasions. A common cause of death in this setting is high blood loss. Our products help to alleviate suffering and save lives. Only then have we reached our goal.
4/ How much Qatar is important for your growth plan?
Qatar offers us the opportunity to promote our products as well as IVF HARTMANN AG as a company in the Arab region. The potential for our products and in particular for the Trauma Box® exists worldwide. Qatar is another step towards expanding the customer base.
5/ Where do you intend to grow your business in the future (countries or vertical)?
We are committed to making trauma products available in as many countries and customer segments as possible. We carefully analyse the needs of our customers and try to continuously improve our products accordingly. True to our motto: «Going further for health».
